TESTIMONIALS
Hudson Valley Traveler was a tremendous resource to me as I planned my engagement weekend. I knew that I wanted to propose to my fiancé in the Hudson Valley to take advantage of the beautiful foliage, but as I was not very familiar with the area, I was at a loss as to the details. They worked with me, listening to my goals and helping me to flesh out the details of this fabulous weekend. They provided great recommendations for accommodations, places to eat, and even helped come up with the perfect spot to pop the question. There were great about following up with me, and went the extra mile to make sure I had all my questions answered. The weekend was fabulous and she said yes! Ted S., New York
The trip was awesome. You were right on target in suggesting picking up the car near the train station and what a delightful and gorgeous train ride it was from New York City. Lunch was great. On the first day, the gardens you suggested were utterly beautiful. On the second day, we went to Olana which was very nice. The Wool and Sheep Festival was a hoot. We went to the Fisher Center to see modern ballet. It was good. On the third day, we went out to New Paltz, which we really enjoyed. The cafe, as you said, had wonderful views. We then dropped our rental car off and took a short rain ride to DIA:Beacon, which was a great idea. Our B&B was wonderful. The two sisters are great innkeepers. Thanks for your perfect planning. It really made for a great weekend with my niece. Richard G., Los Angeles
Planning holidays in the Hudson Valley is not an easy task for me, a foreigner of upstate New York. The region is beautiful, rich of treasures, but not easily accessible to outsiders. Hudson Valley Traveler was able to find those gems for me. They booked a perfect summer rental-house for my family. I just told them who were the group of travelers, and what we were looking for. The house exceeded our expectations. They definitely know the region, and directed us to a lodging that I would have been unable to find on the Internet by myself. They work fast - all was booked in three days - and are not afraid of a challenging demand - I called them only two weeks before the beginning of my trip. Their service is well worth the price.
